Langauge of the screen

We are asked to find the true meaning of these three abreviations:
A. ECU
B. WS
C. MS

What an epic task....

...but seriously, it was.

After 30 minutes into my search for ECU, with half the class having already finished, I had failed. Given up!, changed to facebook and began fooling around in imovie.
You know that nagging feeling you get in your stomach sometimes, when you know your in the red, I had it, it was telling me to do my work....and maybe raid the vending machine downstairs.
So after searching many, many websites I found what ECU meant....Extreme Close Up...What!!! who was ready for that!, here's me searching for what felt like hours for computer parts...fail.
Once Id stumbled upon the then mystical "ECU", "WS"(Wide Shot) and "MS"(Medium Shot) soon fell.

To define them:

ECU: A picture taken at very, very close range, like an extreme close-up of a face might show only an eye. Shot would only contain a single face in frame. (H-REF1)
WS: A wide shot shows most of the scene or "field of view", Its usually the establishing shot. IT. SEE'S. ALL
MS: A medium shot of an individual will take in the body from the knees or waist up. (H-REF2)
